In order to protect his beloved devotees and To uplift Dharma bhagavan takes numerous avataras.We also get numerous births but ………

2. How bhagavan avataras are different from human births/when does bhagavan takes avatara

We get our births based on our good or bad deeds that we do in our lives. Where as Bhagavan takes his avataras as his wish and at his will. And also Bhagavan himself told in Gita

Yada Yada Hi dharmasya……………….

Means whenever there is decline in Dharma and good people suffer from bad people ..to uplift dharma,to protect good people and to punish bad people bhagavan says he takes avatara.

        As said, Bhagavan took ten different avataras that are called Dasavatara .

Bhagavan took form of Fish in Matsya Avatara……….  To kill Madhu and Kaitabha …..save the vedas and free Lord Brhama

Bhagavan came as turtle in Kurma avatara…….. to lift the Mandhra mountain while churning the  milky ocean by the devatas and asuras for Amrutham.

In Varaaha avatara bhagavan took form of boar :  to kill HiraNYaaksha  and  to save mother earth.

Nrisimha: ……Bhagavan came as half lion and half man to kill  HiraNyakasipu  and to prove the words of his devotee Prahalda that  God is every where from smallest of small paricle and biggest of big structures like pillars.

ShaantaAakaaram Bhujaga-Shayanam …. Sarva-Lokaia-Eka- Naatham ||

          shrIman nArAyaNa shrIman nArAyaNa…………….

In all these  above avataras……bhagavan… comes,does his job and goes in a jiffy…

but  only in  two avatars …stays for longer time on the earth .

What are those…..i.e.Rama And Krishna Avatara

        In both these avataras bhagavan took Birth as Human and lived like human for long time for the common purpose i.e dharma rakshana,dustha nighram ans sistha paripalanam….these two avataras are ..no way similar.

Why ../How?

In Rama Avatara ..

           Strictly adhered to Dharma for total avatara.

            In this avatara People were like this…teraa bhee teraa….meraa bhee theraa(Your’s is your’s ….mine is also your’s …if you want..)

In Krishna Avatara..

 When coming to  Krishnavatara

People became smart and they were like this.

Meraa bhee meraa..teraa bhee meraa(Mine is mine and your’s also mine)

Manipulative people like Kamsa,Sakuni,Sisupaala were increased. So how it is possible to  handle those type of people with fallowing Dharma. Bhagavan has to use lot of intelligence, wisdom to handle these type of people. If somebody is very typical and maupulative we have to use lot of stratagies to 

                                    counter them. (Like Tom and Jerry)

In Rama Avatara

limited his avatara mahima

never showed his  super power to people though he is in Avatara.

total life lived  like a humanbeing…eventhough he is avatar

for ex in a second he can cross

make friendship with hanuma,sugreeva,built Rama Setu  to reach Lanka

Wanted to give credit to his fallowers

But in Krishna avatara

right from his birth

showed his powers..in every polace he gave indications that he is god

the moment he born he showed his devamsha that he is none other than  Vishnu.

He showed his Viswa rupa Darshanam to his parents with Sankha Chakra dhara

Sanka Chakradhara Dustha daityahara Sarva .oka

Saranaa…..Sarva Loka Saranaa

     Bhagavan did lot of leelas like…. Poothana samhara,kaleeya mardhanam….Govardhangiri lifting..etc etc…countless. Listening to his stories.

 delight and enriching experience …. the  great sravana phala.

But bhagavan,exhibits his super power and amaanusha shakthi..sarvagna…..sarvantaryami..not all time but only at really very important occassions

If we say example…In Maha Bharatha

Duryodhana was not just satisfied …he didn’t want to live them peacefully.... One day purposefully  invited  Durvasa muni  who gets anger very easily and frequently and gives curse.  Duryodhana served him with lot of varieties of food etc and made Durvasa muni very happy….Played a trick….He said to Muni”Please go to my Brother Dharmaraju’s home also so that they also will be blessed”.He made Durvasa muni to go to   Pandavas  home  with thousand of his disciplies in the late afternoon.When you are living in the jungle where you won’t get proper clothing and food varieties …how can Padavas can serve these Muni and His sisyas. His intension was Muni will go and pandavas definitely face problem with food and all then muni will give curse so they will go to duifficult situation.Now Durvasa muni went to Panadavas and told with Dharmaraju “upon your request we came here now you have to satisfy us. Pandavad understood the bad thought of Duryodhna.But with pleasant manner they invited Durvasa Muni with great respect and asked them to have bath in the near by river. When you request some one to come and have food but when you not served with proper food. Pandavas have to satisfy Durvasa muni with food. Otherwise Durvasa muni will give a severe curse. When they left for bath,Dharmaraju Came inside asked Draupadi if there is anything  left to serve? Actually Dharmaraju was  gifted with an Akshaya Patra  by Surya bhagavan during vana vasa.  This vessel could feed any number of people until Draupadi ate and the vessel was washed. When Durvasa arrived all the guests,pandavas and finally Draupadi had already eaten and the vessel was cleaned.  Draupadi didn’t know what to do.  Now she did one thing that they always would do when she   is in trouble….She prayed  to Krishna. Lord Krishna immediately appeared and Bhagavan wants to show his super power.

In Githa bhagavan himself says

Sarva Dharmaan parityajya maam ekam SaraNam vraja
aham tvaa Sarva paapEbhyO MOKSHAYISHYAAMI MAA SUCHA

When ever  you are not capable of doing job ,leave all other dharmas and , just surrender to me. I will definitely take care of you.

Pandavas did that only…they did saranagathi.

(because bhagavan knows what happens if Durvasa muni was not satisfied whatever he wants…pandava vamsa nashanam…how bhagavan allows that)

 Give me something to eat ..I am very hungry”?Draupadi explained  about akshya paatra cleaning also…no food to offer…but Bhagavan insisted her to look through the akshaya patra..lucky Draupati found  found a small grain stuck in the pot , Krishna says “See here is something to eat ‘……She asked ‘how it will fill your hunger”? but bhagavan told that  first serve it to me …..then Draupadi offered that small grain with great bhakthi,….

Krishna ate that and burped in satisfaction.

In Gita Bhagavan himself says….

patram puspam phalam toyam            yo me bhaktya prayacchati
tad aham bhakty-upahrtam  asnami prayatatmanah

(With love and devotion if you give me a leaf,flower,fruit or even a drop of water I will happily accept it)

When the bhagavan himself get satisfied we all get satisfied …right…Same thing happens here… At that very moment, all the Brahmans felt as if they had afeast.Then they came to Pandavas and said we are not hungry anymore  ..we will come some other time…..we are satisfied with your great respect they said that and blessed them with to succeed in everything  they do….if elders give blessings  it becomes true..now if pandavas go to war also definitely they will win. So at  the end of the story it didn’t happended what Duryodhana expected. Because on the side of the Pandavas …sakshatt Krishna Paramaatma is there  who is sarvagna,savantharyaami and sarva Shrestha…then how can they defeated.  Like wise Bhagavan showed his super powers at various times as and when reuired.

Among all 3 gods of Sanathana Dharma

(GOD…g…Generates…O….for Operates…..D…..for Destroy)

Lord Brahma handles creation or birth of life…DONE RIGHT THERE

After birth we live for some time and we die.

Lord Siva handles destruction or let’s say death….DONE RIGHT THERE

but what is longest span….the life or sustainity…..right.

So who do we need to lead our life mostly….I.e. Lord Vishnu’s anugraham.

In Tamil….…..Idaiyan…. the one who born as yadava  kula or takes care of Cows

And another meaning is there…. means …the middle one.

So because the life is the middle thing between birth and death one who protects our lives Sree Krishna is called as Idaiyin.

Not in my words in the words of great elders if Idaiyan is with us we wont have ant wants in our lives.

kurai ondrum illai marai moorthy kannas

Along with dharma rakshna and dustha sikshana bhagavan also  given us the wealth of Bahgavadgita.

 He gave this wealth to Arjuna in the Mahabharatha filed.

But this is not for Arjuna it is for all our lives to equate with every situation we are fighting one thing with another ,then we will get confuse what is the right thing to do..whenever we have that confusion we can imme think of Bhagavadgita and can over come it.

This is given to the benefit of entire universe.

Thats why he is the first jagad Guru of this universe.For that paramaata we offer our prayers as Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.

Bhagavan reaches all  forms whatever form they want…

ye yathā māṁ prapadyante tāns tathaiva

                                                bhajāmyaham
mama vartmānuvartante manuṣhyāḥ pārtha

                                                    sarvaśhaḥ

 Bhagavan says…

Whoever wants to see me in whatever form I will appear before  in that form.

One devotee may want Krishna as supreme master for him he will be the supreme master,

another as his personal friend(Arjuna),

another as his son(Devakee n Vasudev),

 for some one they think that he is enemy…for them also he will still love them as enemy and give them challenges(Kamsa,sakuni.Sisupaala and Danta Vaktra)

 as Gopikas ……..he stand besides them and performs rasa leela.

This is not our words but bhagavan words).

Krishna rewards all the devotees equally, according to their wish  for Him.

So Krishna leela vinodam is such a great thing to listen to chant to do bhajan we are very fortunate to do this on Krishna Jayanthi day. Let us  wish that bhagavan is going to be always with us and all pray to Bhagavan to bless us with peace,prosperity joy and wisdom.
