Krishnam vande Jagadgurum……why should we call lord  Krishna as  Jagagguru…..
While giving geethamrutha to Arjuna in the Battle field…..Arjuna got  a doubt and asked  the lord Krishna…Hey Krishna…How do you know this …….Did you know this before or Did it come instantly…then bhagavan gave a smile….

imaṁ vivasvate yogaṁ
proktavān aham avyayam
vivasvān manave prāha
manur ikṣvākave ’bravīt // Bhagwag Gita - Chapter 4, Shloka 1 //
my dear friend Dhananjaya…. I instructed this immortal science of yoga to the sun-god, Vivasvān, and Vivasvān instructed it to Manu, the father of mankind, and Manu in turn instructed it to Ikṣvākua.


Arjuna  got another doubt and asked Bhagavan…..Hey Krishna….i know your date of birth,place and parents,broughtup and you know mine too but u r saying “I taught this to Surya Bhagavan…..How is it possible….i am confused.. then bhagavan replied….

 “O Arjuna, you do not know your  past lives. But  I can narrate to you the story of your past lives.”( Many, many births both you and I have passed. I can remember all of them, but you cannot)

Based on your Punya Credita and Papa Liabilities… you will get births and deaths and happiness and sufferings in that janma.
But for me there is no Punya and Papa
    ajo 'pi sann avyayatma   bhutanam isvaro 'pi san
prakrtim svam adhisthaya  sambhavamy atma-mayaya 
 MEANS……. Whenever I want I will take avatara…….Although I am unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all sentient beings, I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form.So I don’t have any punya and papa et all.
Again Arjuna asked…..when you take avatara……then Bhagavan repleied
Yada Yada Hi dharmasya         Glanir bhavathy Bharata,
Abyuthaanam Adharmasya      ThadatManam Srijamy Aham.
Paritranaya Sadhunam              Vinashaya Cha dushkritham,
Dharma Samsthapanarthaya     Sambhavami Yuge Yuge.
Means……. Whenever and wherever there is a decrease of Righteousness, and adharma increases,for sajjana samrakshana and durjana samharaa  I will  descend Myself.
                        So to give confidence to the good people, dharmic people  bhagavan takes Avatara to punishing the adharma fallowers…..


So what is Dharama and Adharma……..
Fallowing the right path according to sastra is Dharma opposite is the Adharma..
If a person is named as “ Dharma raju”that person won’t even do one right thing in a day…his C/O  address always will be Jail. But we have to call him as Dharma raju only…
if  a person is named as “Satyavantha”he won’t even say one truthand  his c/o will be always in court telling lies as witness but  still we call him as Satyva because it’s his name).


We are doing Adharma like this
 With our body we do evil; with our tongue we speak untruth; with our mind we think evil; and with our money we do so much that is sinful things.

Why bhagavan has to take Avatars or forms:
As mentioned in above sloka…..bhagavan takes an avatar to cleanse the university frequently.
As we all know:
- Matsya: for destroying Madhu and KaiTaba who stole the Vedas and for retrieving and restoring them to Brahma
- Koorma: for helping the Devas in winning Amrutham by churning the milky ocean
- Varaaha: for killing HiraNYaaksha who abducted mother earth.
- Nrisimha: for killing HiraNyakasipu to prove the words of his devotee, Prahlada
- Vaamana: for demolishing the ego of Mahaabali
Bhagavan can do all these from Vaikuntha itself..but why does he have to come down?

He can do all these without coming down. But, he comes down with a  human form to give us the confidence  that He is with the  us.




First what is avatara

If  a human is  born that is called “birth”, if its bhagavan it’s called as  An Avatar…..
                     In Avatar……the lord who is in the highest form takes a form, so that we can easily establish closeness and relationship with god.. Thus the avatar can walk,talk,eat like a human.
He comes down to our level  to take us up to  his level.

In Avatar bhagavan  has divya nama, divya rupa, shows divya leelas,,,,mahimas
Why he needs naama
Bec to chant his name with our mouth
Why bhagavan needs rupa
Bec to memorise in our heart
Why he shows leelas or Mahimas…
Again to memorise his leelas/ mahimas so that we feel happiness in our hearts…
Finally we need to attain that avatara tattva(Moksha.)  by removing asura qualities.This is the purpose of Avatara…..
Krishnavatara
 ,In Krishnavatara lord Krishna saya “Do what I Say but don’t do what I did”
Among all avatars of Bhagavan, Rama avatar and Krishna avatar are considered as Purna avataras. Again,Sri Krishna Avatara is considered very special because,  In every avatar we can remember Asuras for whom bhagavan has taken that avatar (like when nrusimha avatara we immediately get remember Hiranyakasipu…in Tretaa yuga We remember…Ravannasura etc) but in Krishna avatara we can’t remember Sisupaala and Danta Vaktras names immediately because In this avatara Bhagavan shows Viswa rupa Sandarshan or paramaatma bhava as and when needed.. and  shows all qualities of Bhagavan.

Krishna’s birth

 As the eighth child, Bhagavan,  was born to Devaki and Vasudev.It was a dark stormy night with blinding rain continuously pouring from the sky. During the birth, by the wish of Lord Krishna the guards had fallen asleep and all the locks were unlocked. Because of poorva janma sukrutam. Lord Krishna gave divine darshan to Devaki and Vasudev with all his ornaments sanku, chakra, gadai and padmam on his four hands as HE appeared in Vaikunta.(Paramaadbhuta Leela).

Lord Vishnu took birth as Devaki & Vasudev’s son three times…..

In 1st life

In a previous birth, Vasudev was born as Sutpa and Devki as Prishri. They both were great  devotees of Lord Vishnu and performed several poojas to make him happy. Finally, when Lord Vishnu appeared in front of them, they asked him for a son just like Vishnu himself for 3 lives. When the right came , Vishnu took birth from Prishri’s womb and became famous as Prishrigarbh.

 

In 2nd Life
In another life, Vasudev was Kashyap Rishi, while Devki was born as Aditi. In this birth, Lord Vishnu became their son as Vaaman. Interestingly, this was the fifth avatar of Vishnu in which he incarnated as a human dwarf to protect Indra.

Now it’s their 3rd life ….after this no life for them…

We all know that  bhagavan  was born at Mathura to Devaki and Vasudev Maha raj  and reached  to Vrindavan to Nanda Maha Raj and Yashoda Mayee. Now Bhagavan is named as “Krishna” means” charm that attracts sarva jagatt(all sowls to him) like a magnet that draws iron.

 Bhagavan says…Whoever wants to see me in whatever form I will appear in that form.

One devotee may want Krishna as supreme master, another as his personal friend(Arjuna), another as his son(Devakee n Vasudev),  as enemy(Kamsa,Sisupaala and Danta Vaktra)and still another as his lover(Gopis and Gopikas). Krishna rewards all the devotees equally, according to their different intensities of love for Him.

Little Krishna with all Gopikas at a time
Many gopis constantly complained to maa Yasoda, “Your son steals from our houses and eats our butter. But, dear Yasoda, worse than that He throws milk, yoghurt, and butter everywhere. If He actually ate it, it would be all right, but He doesn’t. He breaks our pots of milk and yoghurt and unties the calves. How can we tolerate this daily loss of milk and yoghurt any longer? We have all decided to leave your village of Vraja and live elsewhere.
            Mother Yasoda  didn’t agree with Gopis and she says “In my home only Little Krishna has enough butter and milk.Why he would come to your houses?
                 So finally  all gopikas decided to get  Little Krishna red handed  while he stealing butter, then maa yashoda has to accept and punish little krihnsa…..
          one day  while little Krishna stealing butter from one gopika’s house,that gopika caught him red handed and this time she don’t want to waste this chance….she picked him up and put him in her armpit .and stepping down from her home to Maa Yasoda’s house.she didn’t look anywhere… …Do you know what is happening ther in all of the Gopika’s houses….Every gopika is getting Little Krishna to maa Yasoda’s house without looking on their sides…In Varanda…maa yasoda is churning the butter…..They shouted with happiness that they got little krihna red handed..Oh..Maa Yasodaa…look here..
        Then Do you know what happens
               From Maa yasoda’s lap ,little Krishna  stood up and put his hands on his hip and said’What   does maa yasoda has to see?”By seeing little Krishna all Gopikas got shocked  and surprised and they looked in their armpits for Little Krishna….
               Do you think little Krishna still there?
  No, He vanished.
 
At a time Bhagavan can be with everyone and every where.

Viswa rupa sandarshana to Yasodhaa mayee.
Oneday Balaram came and complaint to his mother that Little Krishna ate mud.Maa Yashodaa calls little Krishna  asks him”Did you eat mud?’ Little Krishna shook his head and says “No”Then Balaram says “Krishna is lieing….maa yasoda asks Krishna”are you telling lies?Little Krishna says no I am not lieing….then maa asks little Krishna to open his mouth….Little Krishna opens his mouth..
Maa yasoda sees  whole universe like Kailasam,milk ocean and earth…etc etc….she thought that Krishna ate lot of butter so the butter became like a kailassam
Little Krishna always drinks milk so she thought that it became like a milk ocean
By seeing mother earth she thought that Little Krishna has been eating a lot of mud so that became like a mother earth…..
She thought that all of these didn’t digestand she takes “Dishti” for little Krishna.

1.Mahima/Asamana Shakthi
Bhagavan says

aham tvaa Sarva paapEbhyO MOKSHAYISHYAAMI MAA SUCHA
Means Having given up all Dharmas (which you find incapable of doing), just surrender to me. I will relieve you from all karmas (   that bind you to Samsara)

Bhagavan saves Parikhit Maharaj upon pray of Uttara
All the sons of five Pandava brothers ( the Upapandavas) were killed in sleep by The son of Drona …Ashwathhama as a revenge against the Pandavas for killing his relatives and his friend Duryodhna request (especially his father) in the Kurukshetra war.
Parikshit was son of Abhimanyu and Uttara and the only descendant of the Pandava clan left.  Ashwatthama had prepared  to kill King Parikshit while he was in his mother's (Uttarā) womb,. He used Brahmastra on Uttars’s womb., Kunthi, Draupadi and Uttarā was terrified by the powerful rays of the weapon and worried about her child …if that child is killed then kuru vamsham will be end. Then Draupadi and Uttara prayed to Bhagavan to save Parikishit Maharaj. Then Supreme Lord Krishna let the Brahmastra attack(once Brahmastra is targeted and fired, nobody can stop it from completely destroying its target. Of course, Sri Krishna, being the Supreme Personality of Godhead could easily stop it, because He respected Lord Brahma and did not want to disrespect him by stopping the unstoppable weapon).  and bhagavan went to Uttaras womb in invisble form and  saved the child by absorbing the force of weapon in the Uttaras womb. This child remembered the beautiful face of his savior in his mothers womb and once he was born tried to recognize the person. Even as a new born baby he looked searchingly at all who came to see him , so he earns the name Parikshith.(the one who examines all)
Now a days also babies immeadiately after birth they are also searching ….for what…..not to see neither Father nor Mother  but for TV remote to change channels  .Because women when they are pregnant they are  called as dwi hrudaya means one is her own and the other is bABy’s heart…babies feels whatever mothers feels,eats,thinks etc. so they watched Tv along with their mom when they are in their mother’s tummy.
            Parikshit Maharaj was fortunate enough to hear, chant even see the Bhagavan before his birth.


Why bhagavan did’t save Abhimanyu?
When Bhagavan saves Parikshit in the womb itself …..most of us have a doubt.., Why bhagavan couldn’t  save Abhimanyu who was trained by Lord Krishna himself along with Arjuna and later trained by Pradyumna, son of Krishna ?He did not need to die at such a tender age, so brutally? He is the great Charriot equal to Arjuna and younger  too… If he survived  kuru vamsha will be shine with great Parakrama but why bhagavan let him die?
Because he is Sarvagna….he know what to do when to do and how to do..
Yes, he could but he did not. Here is why – it is said that Abhimanyu was the reincarnation of Varchas, the son of the Moon god. When the Moon God agreed for his son to be incarnated on earth by the devas, he put a condition – his son would remain on earth only for 16 years as he could not bear to be separated from him any longer. Hence, this was to be the lifespan of Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu’s life longevity was known to Shri Krishna. Hence, he allowed Abhimanyu to hear the conversation between Arjuna and Subhadra up until entering or breaking into the Padma Vyuha or Chakravyuha. Also, before understanding the strategy required to destroy and oust the Chakravyuha, Krishna called Arjuna away. Hence, Abhimanyu had no knowledge of this. Abhimanyu’s death was inevitable but also necessary. This is because Shri Krishna needed Arjuna to be full of fire for vengeance to fight the Kauravas. Arjuna was confused as he did not want to fight his own cousins. He did not want to fight his own elders and gurus. Hence, this was Shri Krishna’s master plan. As planned, Shri Krishna knew that Abhimanyu’s death would act as a turning point in the war and it would be in the Pandava’s favor. Up until Abhimanyu’s death, the Pandava’s did not fight with full strength. Also, by killing Abhimanyu, the Kauravas committed a major breath in the ethics and code of the Mahabharata war.








How Draupadi was protected from Durvasa Muni by Krishna’s Grace
During the Pandavas Vanavasa…. there was a great rishi Durvasa, known for his quick temper. One day purposefully King Duryodhana invited  Durvasa muni  along with thousands of his sisyas to bless him. Duryodhana served him with lot of varieties of food etc and made Durvasa muni very happy and then he wantedly told to Durvasa muni ”Please go to my Brother Dharmaraju’s home also so that they also will be blessed….Durvasa muni upon request by Duryodhana  with histhousands of  sisya’s   went to  Pandavas  home who lived in a forest with wife Draupadi in the late afternoon..

       Now as per the tradition of a Kshatriya  pandavas have to satisfy Durvasa muni with food. Otherwise Durvasa muni will give a severe curse.So without any fear (only outside) they invited Durvasa Muni with great respect and asked them to have bath in the near by river.
When they left for bath,Dharmaraju Came inside asked Draupadi if there is anything  left to serve? Actually Dharmaraju was  gifted with an Akshaya Patra  by Surya bhagavan during vana vasa.  This vessel could feed any number of people until Draupadi ate and the vessel was washed. When Durvasa arrived pandavas and  Draupadi had already eaten and the vessel was cleaned. 

                 Draupadi didn’t know what to do.  Now she did one thing that she always would do when she is in trouble….She prayed  to Krishna.Lord Krishna immediately appeared(because bhagavan knows what happens if Durvasa muni was not satisfied whatever he wants…kuru vamsha nashanam…how bhagavan allows that) and asked Draupadi’ Give me something to eat ..I am very hungry”?…..
 Draupadi said, "This is no time for jokes, please help me to feed the guests ….Draupadi explained  about akshya paatra cleaning also…no food was there  but Krishna insisted that she should show him the pot. When Draupadi did, Krishna found a small grain stuck in the pot , Krishna says “See here is something to eat ‘……She asked ‘how it will fill your hunger”? but bhagavan told that  first serve it to me …..then Draupadi offered that small grain with great bhakthi,…. Krishna ate that and burped in satisfaction.
When the bhagavan himself get satisfied  we all get satisfied …right…
Same thing happens here… At that very moment, all the Brahmans felt as if they had eaten a vast meal. Realizing that even though they hadn’t  eaten anything, their hunger had been satisfied. Then Dharmaraju went and asked them to sit and have the food ….then they said  no…no… .we are not hungry anymore  …..we are satisfied with your respect they said that and blessed them and went, thought inside that Bhagavan is their side.



How Draupadi saved by Lord During Vastraapaharana
During vastraharan, Draupadi called out to her husbands as wells as the elders present there for help, but none came forward. When dushasana started pulling one end of her saree, she started praying to Lord Krishna for help. Being her friend, guide and companion, Lord Krishna provided an unlimited supply of cloth to her saree so that Dushasana kept on pulling the saree from one end but the cloth in her saree never ended. This is how Lord Krishna helped Draupadi during vastraharan.
But why Bhagavan help here to Draupadi….
1.Sarava dharaman parityajya
2.if Draupadi curse to Kourava….total kuru vamsha vinashanam will be destroyed immediately…..Bhagavan don’t want to happen now itself….still adharmam has to reached peak stages so that ……
















Arjuna kills Saindhava/Jayadratha
(Bhagavan shows his asamaana shakthi and Sarva Gnana )
Arjuna held Jayadratha responsible for Abhimanyu's death on the thirteenth day of the war. He vowed to kill him the very next day before sunset, failing which he would kill himself by jumping in a pyre. The Kauravas hid Jayadratha from Arjuna, knowing that Arjuna's death would result in a Kaurava victory. However, Krishna created an artificial eclipse by using his Sudarshana Chakra to hide the sun, forcing Kauravas to believe the day was over and Arjuna's death was imminent. Wishing to mock Arjuna, Jayadratha went to the head of the army in joy, even as the sun emerged from the eclipse. Arjuna makes his arrows to carry away Jayadratha's head. This was because Jayadratha had a boon from his father that who ever will be responsible for his son's severed head to fall onto the ground will have his head burst into 100 pieces. That is why Arjuna carried the severed head of Jayadratha to his father, who was awoken from his meditation by the sudden landing of a severed head on his body and since he ended up dropping it to the ground, he had his head blown up.




 Bhagavan saves Bheemasena from Dhrutarastra (Bhagavans Sarvagna quality)
After the war had ended, the Pandavas, along with Dhraupadi and Krishna went to the elders to seek their blessings and greetings.They went to Dhritarastra and Gandhaari too. First Yuddhisthira bow in front of Dhritarashtra & Gandhari.Yuddhisthira apologized to Dhritarashtra & Gandhari because their all of son were killed in Mahabharata War.

Now, Bhimasena was going to bow in front of Dhritarashtra & Gandhari.But, When Bhimasena was going near to Dhritarashtra God Sri Krishna stopped him andput a iron statue infront of Dhritarastra. Dhritarashtra hugged a statue of Bhimasena. Dhritarashtra crushed that statue by applying his all strength on it and squeezed the idol of Bhima and broke it into a hundred peices. Such was his anger for killing all of his 100 sons. When he realized this act, he regretted his mistake. Dhritarashtra was blind but he had strength of ten thousand elephants.
 Bhimasena had strength of one thousand elephants. So, Dhritarashtra was ten times stronger then Bhimasena.
           
           Dhritarashtra assumed that Bhimasena killed by him so Dhritarashtra feel sorrow.

But,God Sri Krishna told it was only a statue of Bhimasena. Real Bhimasena is standing other side. But later, he realized that , Krishna once more saved the Pandavas.

 నేను మీవలెనే కంటి నెయ్యమైన బిడ్డని

బాయిట బారవేసిన పాలు వెన్నలును |
 చేయి వెట్టకుందురా చిన్నిబిడ్డలు |
మీయిండ్లు జతనాలు మీరుసేసికొనక |
పాయక దూరేరేల ప్రతిలేని బిడ్డను ||

 మూసిన కాగులనే యీముంగిట పెరుగులూ |
ఆసపడకుందురా ఆబిడ్డలు |
వోసరించి మోసపోక వుండలేక మీరు |
సేసేరింతేని దూరు చెప్పరాని బిడ్డని ||

 చొక్కమైన కొప్పెరల జున్నులు జిన్నులును |
చిక్కిన విడుతురా చిన్నిబిడ్డలు |
 మిక్కిలి పూజలుసేసి మెచ్చ్చించదగదా |
యెక్కువైన తిరువేంకటేశుడైన బిడ్డని ||
